A Lakeside Summer Wedding at Edgewood Tahoe Resort
When couples dream of a Lake Tahoe wedding, they're picturing something like this — sparkling blue water, snow-capped Sierra Nevada peaks, towering pines, and a day that feels effortless and extraordinary all at once. Isabella and Taylor's June wedding at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada delivered every bit of that dream, and then some.
As their wedding planner and coordinator, the team at Marcella Camille Events had the honor of bringing every detail of this day to life alongside an exceptional group of Lake Tahoe wedding vendors. From the ceremony on the lawn overlooking the lake to a clear-tent reception that lasted well into the night, this is the kind of wedding we'll be talking about for years.
The Details: Invitations, Rings & Getting Ready
Isabella's invitation suite set the tone immediately — a mountain sketch illustration with a clean serif typeface, sage green ribbon, and a forest green velvet ring box anchoring the flat lay. The aesthetic was classic and refined, with just enough Tahoe personality woven in.
Getting ready moments captured by photographer Elsa Boscarello were equally beautiful — emotional, candid, and full of the kind of quiet joy that only a wedding morning brings.
The Bridal Party
The bridesmaids wore flowing sage and taupe satin gowns, each styled differently, each carrying lush white bouquets by Ash & Lily Floral. Hair and makeup by La Di Da Beauty kept every look soft, polished, and perfectly in step with the aesthetic of the day.
The Ceremony: Lakeside Vows at Edgewood Tahoe
There are few ceremony backdrops in the world that can compete with Edgewood Tahoe. Isabella and Taylor exchanged vows on the resort's lakeside lawn, surrounded by white garden chairs, lush floral urns by Ash & Lily Floral, and the deep blue of Lake Tahoe stretching out behind them.
Ash & Lily designed sweeping ceremony arrangements in white roses, blue hydrangeas, and ranunculus set in white stone urns — a nod to the lake's color palette that felt completely intentional. Petals lined the aisle. The mountains sat in the background like they'd been placed there on purpose.
That just-married feeling — the guests rising, and the lake framing everything — is one of those images that reminds us why we do this work.
Cocktail Hour on the Shoreline
Guests spilled onto the grounds for cocktail hour, drinks in hand, the Sierra Nevada framing the entire scene. Custom "The Cochrans" cocktail stirrers in personalized drinks on the beach were one of the details that made guests stop and smile. It's the small things.
The Reception: Clear Tent, Disco Balls & Sounds Elevated
The reception took place beneath a stunning clear tent on the Edgewood Tahoe grounds — strung with Edison lights, anchored by cluster disco balls from Sierra Lighting. When the sun went down and the lake appeared through the tent walls, the whole space transformed.
Sounds Elevated kept the energy electric from the first song to the last. By the time Isabella changed into her reception dress, the dance floor was packed and nobody was ready to leave.
Golden Hour Portraits at the Lake
Between dinner and dancing, Taylor slipped away to the shoreline for portraits at golden hour — and the images speak for themselves. The sand, the warm light, the lake, the dress, the tux.. Timeless.
The Night They'll Never Forget
