This great styled shoot, brought to us by Kurt Larsen Photography, is inspired by the glamorous parties held at the Historic Valhalla Grand Hall in the 1920's. This shoot, reminiscent of a time gone by, is complete with tuxes, grand balls, and not to mention an absolutely gorgeous couple. I can't think of a more perfect landscape for a vintage-styled shoot with historic touches of grandeur and dignity! From the Photographer ~ The Grand Hall at the Historic Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe, California served as the perfect setting for this 1920's vintage inspired shoot. Valhalla is rich in history as a booming summer vacation resort in the early 20th century. Lavish parties of the historic Valhalla sparked this wedding shoot by Larsen Photography. Feathers and pearls adorn the lovely little DIY details. The mantle scape was designed with tall ostrich feather sprays, along with vases filled with candles and flowers in varying heights. Ribbons and pearls cascade below the ledge to accentuate the large mantle area as an artistic focal point. The elegant wedding cake was accented with a DIY draped pearl cake stand. Tablescapes featured gold chargers and beaded napkins with a letterpress dinner menu and floral embellishment. The colorful bridal bouquet, boutonniere and arrangements completed the look for this styled shoot. The bride was glamorized with retro pin curls and a jeweled feather hair piece. Her flawless porcelain look was inspired by the 1920's era with a modern touch. The groom was styled in classic black tie attire. The couple, Zivile and Eric were so sweet together and great to work with. We ended the wonderful day by walking to the pier and taking the last shots overlooking the beautiful blue water of Lake Tahoe.
